The detection range of the hydrogen detector is determined by a variety of factors, including product model, technical parameters and installation environment.
Generally speaking, the detection range of common hydrogen detectors is in the following ranges:
Low concentration detection: Hydrogen detectors can usually detect a low concentration of hydrogen leakage, generally as low as tens of parts per million (parts per million). For example, some detectors can detect hydrogen leaks at concentrations of 50ppm or less, which is very important for early detection of potential leaks.
High concentration detection: For high concentration hydrogen leaks, the detector can generally detect a concentration of several thousand ppm or even higher. Some detectors are capable of detecting hydrogen concentrations above 10,000 PPM. In some specific industrial environments, detectors capable of detecting higher concentrations of hydrogen may be required to ensure safety.
Effective detection radius: In the space range, the effective detection radius of the hydrogen detector is usually from a few meters to more than ten meters. Under normal circumstances, the effective detection radius of small detectors may be about 3 meters to 7 meters, while the effective detection radius of some strong detectors can reach 10 meters or even farther.
It should be noted that the actual detection range may be affected by environmental factors, such as ventilation, temperature, humidity, interfering gases, etc. When installing the hydrogen detector, select the appropriate detector model according to the specific use environment and needs, and install and debug in strict accordance with the installation instructions to ensure that the detector can play the best detection performance.
